Willow Blue Marketing

CAROLYN WHEELER is a freelance marketing consultant with over 15 years of experience in advertising, public relations and brand development.  She has worked for major advertising agencies including Grey Advertising in Los Angeles where she managed multi-million dollar clients such as Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and Caesars Atlantic City, and supervised R&R Partner’s major accounts including Luxor Las Vegas and Excalibur Hotel Casino.  She also worked for Sierra Insurance Group, Sabre and Leisure Industries in Las Vegas where she developed branding strategies and marketing programs for new market products.  

As a freelance marketing consultant, Carolyn helped to implement marketing programs for small start-up companies such as NetSol and Dog & Cat Hotel USA.  Recently she was brought in to revitalize the brand and marketing efforts of Fremont Street Experience, a leading Las Vegas tourist attraction and began working with Communities In Schools of Southern Nevada to help them implement their marketing plan. 

She earned her BA in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She has forged a leading role in the community and has served on the board of the Junior League of Las Vegas, was a member of the Las Vegas Children’s History Foundation and served on the Las Vegas Centennial Special Events Committee. Carolyn currently  holds a position on the board of Family to Family Connection Northwest where she oversees their fundraising efforts and is a member of the 2008 Leadership Las Vegas class.
